Anna Pavlova was a Russian ballet dancer who died in 1931. She has been acclaimed as one of the greatest ballet artists of all time. Her most memorable performance however took place after her death. Now I know nothing about ballet, and I can’t even say that I appreciate ballet, but I like this story.  Anna was to play the role she made famous, the Dying Swan, at the Apollo Theater in London. A POSSIBLE NEW LOOK AT ST. PHILIP NERI CHURCH Talks given during the masses on April 27 @ 4:00pm and on April 28 @ 9:30am mass. Questions answered after the mass. Portland is one of five cities selected by the national social service agency to participate in the Healthy Housing Initiative. The goal is to reduce chronic homelessness by bringing together "the resources of the local Catholic organizations." The work in Portland will be a collaboration between Catholic Charities, Providence Health & Services and the Archdiocese of Portland.  ...
