Nathan Ingraffea, a structural engineer, informed us of the following regarding the old St. Philip Neri Church and the rectory: “Good news—based on the original specifications, the church is not a URM (unreinforced masonry). It’s wood-framed with a brick veneer. This is relatively rare construction for that era, but it does match what we saw through the hole in the plaster at the balcony.
