Lent begins in 11 days (Ash Wednesday, February 26). Check the front of the bulletin for the Masses and Ash distribution on that day. Interesting note: even though Ash Wednesday is not a “Holy Day” it is one of the best attended Liturgies. Lent is a ‘season’ lasting 40 days (Noah and the flood, Israelites wandering in the desert/Exodus, Jesus in the desert). Faith Labor Breakfast | February 18 @ 7:15am
Consider joining several fellow parishioners at the 18th Annual Faith Labor Breakfast, Tuesday, February 19th at St. Andrew Parish, 800 NE Alberta St., 7:15 – 9:00 a.m. ‘All at the Table’ is providing dignity for workers, honesty in work, justice in employment. St. Philip’s has been part of this project since the beginning It is a long journey to reach the higher ground. (Tickets are $20 but no one will be turned away.)
