The Peace and Justice Commission, along with the Seven Corners New Seasons Market, will be hosting our
8th annual Thanksgiving Meal on Thursday Nov. 22
from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Carvlin Hall.
This meal is open to parishioners & SE Portland neighbors who are alone, without plans, are homeless or in transition. We can use help with donations of pumpkin pies, vegetable dishes, juice, coffee, as well as volunteers to help the day of the dinner!
Sign-up boards for food donations and for volunteers will be posted in the back of church.
We also welcome cash donations to help cover the cost of food cooked and served by New Seasons deli staff.
Your donations can be sent to St. Philip’s, with the subject line “Thanksgiving Meal.” Or you can donate through the parish website by using this link. If we receive more funds than we need for the cost of the dinner, the remaining funds will be used for St. Philip’s projects for those in need through the year!
We are also looking for donations of gloves, scarves, socks, coats and blankets.
