Altar Society Donation Request | Bradley Angle and Domestic Violence Awareness

Remember October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Altar Society is again asking for cash donations to provide welcome & hygiene bags throughout the year —plus gift cards at Christmas— to the women, children, and men sheltered by Bradley Angle. This unique and ongoing project started in October 2009. To date, 486 welcome bags have been delivered as a result of parishioner contributions and the work of Altar Society volunteers.

Domestic violence is a pattern of coercive behaviors that can include physical, psychological, sexual, economic, and emotional abuse, perpetrated by one person against an intimate partner to establish and maintain power and control. Bradley Angle has been assisting survivors, and those at risk of domestic violence, with safety, education, empowerment, healing, and hope for more than 40 years. Please drop by the office, send a check, making it out to: St. Philip Neri Altar Society, memo line “Bradley Angle.” or give securely online HERE

Thank you for caring.
