This time of year allows us to reflect quite a bit, especially this year in COVID. I realize that we sometimes allow ourselves to be burdened with uncertainties and grief that we feel comes from other people. I want to encourage you to step back and look at yourself in the mirror, and ask what do I bring to stressful situations? I know in recovery I needed to do this when making amends with other people, and there were times I thought I couldn’t or wouldn’t make this amends. I needed to really spend some quality time in prayer to bring myself to ask forgiveness from other people. This was very painful and sometimes down right hard. I needed to find inner strength and serenity to be still with what I was facing. It is my hope that you take some time in these next weeks and bring yourself to some place of tranquility and peace that you may work on things for yourself. Please know if you want to schedule confession, please call me at the office to set a time, or our Reconciliation Service is March 18th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. We also have Solemn Exposition on Sundays after Mass until 11:30 a.m. Please consider taking an hour or sometime to spend with Our Lord. Jesus reminds us to receive Him as often as we can, and I invite you to look at your relationship with Him. May God’s Blessing be upon you as we enter into this third week of Lent.
