SERA & Catholic Charities OPEN HOUSE | Update
Last Sunday (February 9th) parishioners, neighbors, and Catholic Charities representatives shared ideas in an Open House event to consider early-stage proposals for parish property and select buildings. Attendees were encouraged to post comments and suggestions about any of the process and prototypes; delegates from architectural firms and Catholic Charities were available to answer any questions. Keeping the Church Tidy | Volunteer Opportunity
While the Altar Society coordinates the weekly cleaning of the church, anyone can help. The work is light dusting, restocking burnt out candles, washing and filling holy water bowls, and straightening pews. No vacuuming or heavy lifting and it takes about an hour, approximately 4 times a year. Teams of two people work together so this would be a great opportunity to work with a friend or spouse and would benefit the parish.
