Keeping the Church Tidy | Volunteer Opportunity
While the Altar Society coordinates the weekly cleaning of the church, anyone can help. The work is light dusting, restocking burnt out candles, washing and filling holy water bowls, and straightening pews. No vacuuming or heavy lifting and it takes about an hour, approximately 4 times a year. Teams of two people work together so this would be a great opportunity to work with a friend or spouse and would benefit the parish. Are you thinking of lighting a candle in the church, to commem-orate a friend or loved one who has departed. The Altar Society provides votives for $.50 each and 6-day candles for $3 each. Your offering may be placed in the box on the side altar next to the votive stand. – The Altar Society

TOMORROW! JOIN US | Annual Parish Potluck Picnic, June 23
Anyone who has attended St. Philip Neri's Annual Potluck Picnic knows it is a time to celebrate family and friends, eat delicious picnic food, and catch-up.  We ask everyone to bring something so there is enough for all. Starts at 11am in the open area/lawn next to Carvlin Hall.
