Thanksgiving Request for Donations and Volunteers
After serving meals to our unhoused neighbors for nine years in Carvlin Hall, we need to do things differently this time around. But . . . we still need volunteers and donations to make things happen. Can you help? This year’s plan calls for meals-to-go to be prepared at the St. Francis Parish kitchen on Start Street and then be transported to the St. Philip Neri parking lot, where volunteers will deliver the meals to homeless camps in our Southeast neighborhood. Thanksgiving Dinner 2020 | Volunteer Request
St. Philip Neri will again serve a Thanksgiving dinner our unhoused brothers and sisters — but in a very different way in this year of the Covid-19 pandemic. We will be working with Catholic Charities to deliver hot meals to those living at homeless camps in our southeast neighborhoods.  The goal is to make this a safe, successful, and compassionate event, and we could use your help.
