Kit Taylor | Music & IT Director
St. Philip Neri is blessed to have one of Portland’s most renowned musicians in charge of its music program. Kit is a gifted singer/songwriter, was accepted into Berklee U. in Boston, and has 12 songwriting awards under his belt. You can learn more about him at www.kittaylor.com.
Kit brings both his musical and tech gifts to St. Philip Neri. Along with designing and managing daily upkeep of the church’s website and newsletter, Kit also leads the music at every mass. On special Holy Days such as Easter and Christmas Kit brings in some of his gifted colleagues, including vocalist Amber Schroeder and saxophonist Willie Matheis.
St. Philip Neri is a growing parish, and when you visit you will enjoy every second of your experience, from Fr. Andrew’s heartfelt Homilies to Kit’s smooth baritone and gifts on the piano.
