Sacraments

The Sacraments, Instituted by Christ the Lord and entrusted to the Church, are signs and means by which the Faith is expressed and strengthened, worship is rendered to God and sanctification of humankind is effected, and thus contribute in the highest degree to the establishment, strengthening and manifestation of ecclesial communion. Therefore greatest reverence and the necessary diligence must be employed in their celebration. The Sacraments are God's way of showing Divine Love and Mercy. We receive God's grace and gifts through the Sacraments. Jesus promised he would not leave us orphans (John 14:18) but would send the Holy Spirit to guide and protect us (John 15:26). The Sacraments are God's way to heal, feed, and strengthen us.
